No passcodes, but Dixons/Currys/PC Worls are doing the 'Broadband in a box' for £17.99 inc all equipment and 2 months access. This is the 1MB service.
The contract is a further 10 months.
I'm not pushing it - I am also looking for BB, and doing the maths on various providers. As long as you don't download excessively (which is getting harder anyway) or play games on line, then this package is very good0 -

Try https://www.metronet.co.uk. PAYG service. My bill is about £13 per month. That includes about 1 mp3 download. They also offer a 1mb version for a couple of quid more. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
No codes but I have Wanadoo bband at £17.99 with a download limit. The limit has never stopped me downloading a thing and I definately exceed the 2GB monthly limit they set the service is very good.0

Having done the maths on both metronet and wanadoo, I found the following:
the costs with wanadoo remain the same whether you migrate or become a new user. The total cost for the year is £197.89 including all equipment on the 1MB service with the 2GB per month download cap.
To migrate to metronet, it will cost £184.98 for the 1MB service with a cap of 200MB (0.2GB) per month.
To become a new ADSL user with metronet user will cost £234.95 for the same service and you will need to buy the modem and filters as well.
With regard to the lack of capping with wanadoo, I have heard that this is because BT do have the technology to do this yet, but it will be on it's way very soon.
If you want to check your useage, there is 30 day trial for a meter that can be downloaded here:
