If anyone buys one and finds a DVD RW inside with CSI on it then it's mine!!!
I bought one of these from Sainsbury's for £84.99 (£52.49 with Nectar points) a year or so ago. Worked fine until one day on power-up the display went funny. After consulting the manual I unplugged and left it for a while but when I reconnected it was dead as a Dodo, checked fuse but it was okay. Returned it to Sainsbury's who did a full refund as the guy reckoned these models had an overheating problem.
Prior to this I had no complaints but two things to note:
1) In common with several of the entry-level models at that time it had no RGB output.
2) From pressing the power-on button to actually starting recording took probably nearly a minute (never actually timed it though).

My dad bought OP's Mico one well over a year ago...may be nearly two...still working but will not now recognise some brands of blank DVD's...paid £99 in Sainsbugs...a brown box offer...would probably buy another...especially at that price.0

The ones in asda are brand new I think and they have had them since before christmas at about £65.Please Thank Me

I had 2 of these Mico's since 2005. Both broke. However at this price with a 1yr warranty they are worth going for.
I now have one with built in hard drive which is a big benefit however these machines cost more.
As an intro to DVD Recording the Mico at this price is fine in my view.
Keep the warranty though.Keep smiling!0 -
I also bought a refurb'd one of these from Sainsburys about two years ago and it's still working well.
The only minus I've found is that they do have a tendency to overheat and will sometimes cut-out during a long continuous recording in hot weather, but on the whole, they are/were great value for money.0
