30MB is nothing, and with upload speeds on most broadbands, its not really worth it. My upload speed is 10kb/sec, awful.

Im not, its a good storage size Just showing adv/disadv

anything that stores my files is good by me no mater how small
i have about 10 sites of this size and it frees up space for me
but everyone to there own
i think people new to storage will find this handy and easy to use (as you say if they havent a big file to save)
just my opinion
by the way i dont have anything to do with this site i just posted a thanks and a bit more info for people

The problem with some placeses is that you have 1Gig storeage but can only download 100meg a month which is pointless.

Orbitfiles.com does not require any software in order to access your account; you simply need Internet Access from any PC at any location.



Which Browsers are supported?

Orbitfiles.com is thoroughly tested to work in Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox. More to be added soon.



What is maximum file size i can upload at once? Is there limit in the bandwidth used?

The maximum file size to be uploaded from your web based account is 30MB.

You can upload unlimited size files from your desktop using Hercules Uploader. There is no limit in the bandwidth used for both cases.



For how long will my files be stored at Orbitfiles.com Servers?

All your files will be stored at our servers for ever.



What kind of files can i upload at my account?

With the 1000MB free space of file storage there is plenty of space to upload any kind of files such as, documents, movies, MP3s, presentations, photos and many more. With our advanced features you can share your files easily with friends and colleagues. You can also drag and drop entire folders at Hercules and save time.



How to upload multiple files together?

There are 2 ways to do that:

1. Create a separate folder at your computer and add in it all the files you want to upload at your Orbitfiles account. Then simply drag and drop the entire folder at Hercules.

2. At the web based platform there is an option to upload multiple files at the same time.



How do i share files?

There two ways to share your files:

1. Using Hercules from your Desktop - Right click on the file you want to share and select " share " then place in recipient's email and a message.

2. Through Orbitfiles.com website - Select the file and then chose " Share ".


How do i drag and drop files to Hercules?

Currently you can drag and drop files to Hercules directly from your desktop. Here is how to do it:

Open the directory in which your file or folder is located
From there just drag it to Hercules
Wait till file is uploaded


How to get the url of a file? Where can i use the url?

Each file uploaded on our servers has a unique url. To get that, simply share the file with your email address. At the email you will receive the url link of the file will be included. Feel free then to post it in forums, blogs, personal website, distribute it to your friends etc..




How many plans does Orbitfiles offer?

Orbitfiles offers 2 plans to choose from. Platon comes with 1000 MB of space and it 100% free to sign up and Zeus with 5000 MB of space available to use for just $4,99/month.



What kind of payment method do you accept?

Payments for Zeus Plan are processed using 2CO.com. Paypal option to be added soon.



Is it secure to upload files on Orbitfiles.com?

Orbitfiles is using Comodo Group Service to provide a reliable and secure platform.

File uploads can be encrypted if you use Hercules. During logging in check the option " Use SSL "

What is Hercules Uploader?

With Hercules uploader you are able to automate your daily backups and save all your important files. It comes with a set of features that will save you time and reduce the hassle in having to manually back up your files. Simply set the date and time you want your files to be automatically uploaded. Hercules is currently available ONLY in Windows platform.



Is it free to download?

Hercules Uploader is free to download and use as long you are signed up on any of our two plans.
