Possible misprice:Fujitsu Laptop Pi3560,T4300,Geforce GT 240M,4GB,320GB HDD,Win7,£480

It has been pointed out to me (by someone on HUKD) that [dabs/bt shop] might have mixed up the prices of these 2 laptops.

£479.98 with stonkingly good GPU.

£599.98 with rubbish GPU

The models are almost identical, and have (mistakenly?) been given the same manufacturers product code: P3560MRCL2G

So, if you are after a budget gaming laptop and want to take a gamble, this might be worth a punt.
Cross your fingers that dabs ship you the one with the super-powerful GPU; but prepare yourself for making a return & a long battle with CS to get a refund.

If I wanted a laptop right now, i'd go for it.... but sadly I can't justify spending £480 for no other reason than it's a fantastic bargain

Prices still appear to be wrong.

Just to clarify, the difference is the GPU, aka the graphics cards.

The one priced at £479.98 has a:

NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 240M with 1 GB DDR3 VRAM @ 800 MHz & up to 2798 MB shared video memory featuring NVIDIA® PhysX™ & NVIDIA® Cuda™ Technology

This will likely score somewhere between 10,000-12,500 in 3d mark 2005.

The one priced at £599.98 has a:

Mobile Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M with up to 1277 MB shared memory

This will likely score somewhere between 450-1,200 in 3d mark 2005.

That's a BIG difference, and makes the former laptop a fantastic buy @ £479.98

GT 250M (10,000-12,000 3dmark2005) vs 9300M GS (3,000-4,000 3dmark2005)

While comparing 3dmark2005 scores alone is not guaranteed to translate into superior gaming performance, in this instance the difference is so large that you can be confident the GT 250M will be (a lot) better.

Dabs and BT are the same shop. BT bought Dabs some time ago.

Not sure if prices are ever different as have always been the same when I've looked. Same with stock - if one's out of stock so is the other so I think it is probably all run off the same warehouse.

dabs has 4% cashback @ quidco.

There also appears to be a £20 off voucher for spends over £250. (see thread @ HUKD)
Though i've not managed to get it to work.
