£250 Dell PC Dual Core Pentium D with 3y onsite warranty

Not the flimsy Dimension 5150/5150c. This one is for the big guys, the corporate, office segment. First come first served as there is only one left with this spec but still a few Dual core available. Bear in mind that these are refurbished but come with full warranty. £250+VAT is a steal.

nice find ... what gfx card is in it? or is it integrated?

ooh i like the look of the PC on the dell site. Its designed to position behind a Dell TFT monitor and actually sits on the stand of the screen.

It has integrated graphic module. I remember clearly that there was/is a promotion somewhere on Dell's website for monitors specifically designed for those optiplex. Can't see it.

Dimension 5150s are not flimsy - they're pretty robust compared to other machines I've bought.
Presumably this desktop has little room for upgrades?

  • Hey, I've just ordered one of these...however got it for £186.77!

For some reason it added a Laptop and it gave me a £100 off voucher.

Anyway removed the laptop and the voucher stayed...so lets see if they validate the purchase!! :D

For some reasons, the Optiplexes have better scores (at least from a reviewer point of view) when compared to Dimensions. Must be something subjective. The quality of build is often said to be poor on entry level Dimensions (1100 and 3000)

anyone realise you can just put like 'quantity = 20' in the £100 off box, ie get the price down to ZERO. didnt want to do it as dont know what they will charge my card.

That website truly stinks. Every time I go back to the cart it adds another discount.

Even worse, I'm now looking at someone else's order details. Keep clear I would suggest!

EDIT: Every time I look at my basket, the order is different. Anyone else having the same issues?

I would take that as an indicator NOT to buy from them, and certainly not give them my credit card details.

Just went to buy a PC and it's going to be delivered to Doug Marshall in Newcastle Upon Tyne!! I'd be pretty annoyed if it did because he's not me :D
