Christmas Cracker 'snaps'

Hi I watched the www.bbc.co.uk/victorianchristmas site this morning and thought I'd like to try and make the Christmas crackers as they look quite simple to do.I havn't a clue where to by the 'snaps' that make the bang in the cracker though Has anyone any thoughts about where I could buy them

    Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
    Craft shops usually sell them in packs. Or, if you've nothing like that local to you then you can buy them online from Fred Aldous. I'd imagine that there are other online places that might be even cheaper.

    Thanks for that I have just ordered some online along with some other bits. It looks like a really nice site for crafting stuff.I suppose I live about 10 miles from the nearest Hobbycraft and they often never have what I want in stock so I have saved the site to my favourites
