Potential Clarks customers might like to check out these two websites (or just Google 'Clarks hydrolysis') before considering buying Clarks shoes.

We had the same problem and Clarks offered a £10 credit for each completely useless brand new pair of Clarks shoes costing between £60 and £90 a pair - some way of looking after customers, that is!
