I wanna cheap Heart Rate Monitor

Hi all.
I am currently looking for a heart rate monitor for use whilst I'm running.
Does anyone know of the cheapest heart rate monitor around?
Basically up to now I saw a Timex one on pricerunner.com for £28approx inc. delivery - although cheaper would be better as all I need is heart rate, so just a basic one the cheapest I can get really.
Thanks for your help.

Hey thanks a lot for your help.
Forgot to even look on ebay!0 -
Try your local boots - saw one in Coventry Boot's sale today for a tenner - the wrist strap type one, also with a calorimeter on it!

http://www.heartratemonitor.co.uk/ this website sells the branded ones for less than the high street. Also tells you what the features mean and which ones suit which sports. This is a useful little article http://www.roadcyclinguk.com/news/article.asp?UAN=65&SP=328638336730364648266&v=2
My Personal trainer bought the mentioned the TCM Tchibo HRM from Somerfield for £20 and said it was excellent value. The watch does loads more than the Polar S120 I bought for £90 >:( Tchibo have a website but looks like is regularly changed so you may need to keep your ear to the ground to find one. http://www.tchibo.co.uk/
I think they were also sold in Lidl March last year. They may sell them again.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0 -
https://www.mandmsports.co.uk also sell them at discounted prices.0

I dont know if this will be of any help, but I have tried out a few heart rtate monitors, and you pay for what you get. I started off on the cheapo ones and they are not accurate and according to them, your heart rate keeps shooting all over the place! I now have a polar and its great, well woth the money. I got mine for £80 instead of the retail of £150 from an ebay retailer. I would say if you are serious about getting one, better splash the cash and do it properly. (kinda not saving money?!)0
