Wetroom

We want to turn our first floor ensuite into a wetroom. Can anyone recommend anyone that can take on this sort of job from start to finish?? Thanks

I can't recommend anyone but I've seen so many wetrooms done badly, make sure you get some references from whoever you do get to do it. If the silicon tanking isn't done properly the whole thing can be a disaster. Check out a reputable tile shop, they'll usually have local plumbers/tilers they'd recommend.

My thoughts exactly, a badly done wetroom on a first floor with potential leaks would be a nightmare!

I'll take your advice and try phoning around local plumbers/tilers.

Anyone else know anyone??

I would ring the H/E as they deal with turning rooms/ensuites into wetrooms quite a lot!
When My dad done my wet room we rang up The H/E for some advice....they came out and told us that we were entitled to a grant for it (whole different story) but I couldnt wait and they were so helpful in giving my dad the measurements ans turning space needed for a wheelchair/showerchair!!

Also maybe get in touch with an OT in your local health centre.....they have specifications and as they do things like this for a living they can recommend (sometimes) a builder;)
