Not absolutely certain but I think this bracelet is now on offer at £16.99 - think I saw it on a visit to Argos for something else. Might be worth checking it out if you still want it.

Is it free? if I remember right, VC offered to offload it :rotfl:

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Tesco's was gruesome today - wouldn't have gone there but the weather made it a bit difficult to get further afield - queues miles long and prices (especially fruit & veg.) sky high. Did everyone remember to pick up their Telegraph for the £10 off £50 spend coupon, valid at Waitrose but taken in most Tesco's? Another one tomorrow if not. Keep warm everyone

:rotfl:VC's car wouldn't start.....all the veggieoil has frozen in the lines, so he got on his bike, skidded and slid his way into town, passed all the unhappy brass monkeys;), almost managing to do a trick with parts of his body that he thought only well-trained sumo wrestlers could do:eek:, and was told that they couldn't honour the deal.
He politely informed them about the car, the brass monkeys, and the "sumo problem" and he got the deal that he offered to Gill:j:j
    Next time he'll wear thermals:p
It's nice to be nice .....

i have foned headoffice before i venture out to argos, they have told me "it is a mistake" and will not be honoured, this is twice now i have experienced this sort of thing at argos, think it needs looking into.

The thing about glitches is that its best if you don't phone them and let them know of their error, you just go get it and keep it to yourself.

I had one ordered for today, but couldn't get there to collect it. It is held until Monday, but the offer has been removed now.

I always use the self service tills if the offers is still on. Then the person at the till doesn't see what you paying.
