What a shame to bin them instead of letting someone enjoy them for a knock-down price.

yeah, really sad arn't they. There is a metro store I popped into few weeks back, and found a good few reduction flower bunches 1 day out of date. They were absolutely gorgeous, nothing wrong with them at all. At the till the price had to be inserted manullay, and the cashier didn't know how to do this. She called the manager over who said they were out of date and he could not sell them to me.....I explained I had bought them from here many times before but he was a right t**t!!..and would not let me have 'em. I argued I was not going to be eating them and my local tesco let me have them many times. Stubborn git just kept saying they were out of date they could get fine £££'s. Another customer (bless him) was backing me up saying "let her have them, all you gonna do is bin them", but this trout would not budge.....I was well gutted:(
Rang up c.s next day who said "its up to the store and managers discretion". What a load of cr**.

I think he probably took them for himself to give to his partner.

In case no-one noticed elsewhere the £2 off a £8 spend in the times for fruit, veg and flowers is actually £8 off...seems Mr T made a booboo with the barcode....shame..£8 worth of veg, fruit or flowers for £2..nice mothers day gift:beer:
This glitch was still "glitching" in my tescos today. Unfortuneatly I had an eagle eyed SA who noticed and asked the Supervisor and he said noo. :(

Morning all :D. OH managed to use the third of the four £10 off a £30 shop coupons yesterday and she only spent £34 - woo hoo :). So nearly 30% off her shop which also included a load of BOGOF's :T. I've only got one more of these left and a Tesco mailing £5 off a £50 shop for next week and then I've only got Farm Foods. We need more conditional spends - Mad can we have a MOC dance - PLEEEEASE !

Also, nice surprise in the post - £17 of Clubcard Vouchers - I've already had 3 different lots last month but most of these points seem to have come from our Credit Card. Anyone else had some extra vouchers? On the boost your points thread other people have had some - possibly a surprise mailing for Easter? shrug.gif
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D
  • Morning all :)

Tescon are playing games with their prices again. I regularly buy Branston spaghetti for my DD as she loves it. It went up to 47p a tin but has been on offer at 3 for £1 recently. Went to buy some more last night and the offer is still on, but all of a sudden the price has shot up to 64p a tin. No doubt this is destined to be the new price as the offer ends soon.

Now I'm sure thats more than a tad over the rate of inflation :naughty:

Not sure if its been mentioned on here but it would be well worth going over to the Comps thread and have a go at the McVities competition. Ive just won 2 coupons for 2 free packets of McVities biscuits. You have to enter 2 codes from packets of McVities Biscuits and have the chance to win prizes, including packs of biscuits which come in the form of coupons.

I came across this today, haven't seen it on here. You need 3 codes to get a voucher for a free box of Kelloggs.

Sorry if it is a dupe. :)
