I have just come back from Boots & bought 5 items on their 5 for £5 baby items. What a bargain - actually cost me £4.48 as I used my "oldies" Advantage Card. Saved £12.45.

    Hi everyone

Hope your feeling better sher, I bet you will soon be out couponing again.

    Went shopping today.

Went to Asda to use the Birds Eye veg coupons and couldn't find them. Used the free bag of McCain chips coupon and had a bit of trouble. SA would only knock the cost of the chips off not the actual amount coupon scanned. Would have got them in Tesco if I had known beforehand.

Then to Tesco for just a few odds and ends and got a £6 till spit off a £40 spend.

Will use the till spit tomorrow.

I want to go shopping!!!!! I had to go out so Hubby drove. I did get him to stop at Aldi as we needed milk, eggs and dog food. My son's girlfriend is taking me "proper" shopping on Sat. I hope all my shopping fits in her car! I can easily fill the back of my estate when I go shopping and she has a tiny car:eek:! There is a new Ssinsbury's that opened yesterday that is really close to me, I just hope they will gladly take all my coupons and let me buy more than 1 item per product! (That one still boggles my mind!) I mentioned shopping at Aldi today well, they have 350g mushrooms for 49p, very cheap! I like the eggs there too, 10 large for 99p. Milk is also cheaper than the larger supermarkets too, I had the 4 pints size for £1.09.
Murphy knows me too well and sticks to me like glue!

Perhaps you could tow a trolley behind the car to get the overflow home!

Glad to hear Aldi has some good deals as we have a new one opening in the town very soon. Good competition for Waitrose & Sainsburys.

New Sainsburys opening may mean vouchers around for a total spend! :D

Either at the Sainsburys, to try to encourage you back (ask at CS if none evident at the till, you never know) or there may even be some at the nearest Tesco. Some T stores are on the ball and ask HO for special Cond spend sheets to give out when a nearby competitor opens or has a major refit.

Hope you are on the mend Sher. x
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'll keep the trolley idea as a possibility!!:rotfl: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Aldi has swedes for 69p and packs of leeks (all the packs I saw had 3 leeks in it) for 79p. I wish we could use coupons at Adli, Lidl and Netto!! I'd shop there more it they did take coupons!!;)

Thanks! I'll check at CS if I don't get a till spit!! So far no pain but ring finger is still numbish. I get to take the 2 big bandages off tomorrow noon time so my hand won't look more serious than it is and I'll be able to move it more but I'm sure they told me to keep it in the sling for 2 weeks so I don't think I'll be moving it much. I slept so much better last night though than I have since the carpal tunnel problem first started 12 years ago!;)

Just came across this on the Bounty website.

    http://www.bounty.com/client/ovaltine/feature/coupon_v3

25p off any Ovaltine Malt Drink 300g

Prints at top of page and expires 31st March 2010 but what i find strange is the barcode looks as if it will take off 99p but guess we will have to wait and see.
