As uusual the Dr is right. It was also one of the few times I paid by cash rather than CC. I did have the receipt in my purse though as proof I had bought the phones and when, but as the Dr says, not their responsibility. It was their attitude to it that p***d me off.
I don't know about everyone else, but I always turn my back on my trolley when paying, bit difficult not to, so very easy for someone to nick out of it if they want to. Just never thought anyone would. LEARN from it is the attitude now I have cooled down and had a few Blue Wkds since it happened.
as a matter of goodwill - 2 phones are nothing to them and their profits and to then be so unhelpful i think is a disgrace. It should be remembered that the phones were stolen due to the fact that Blue had to turn away from the troley to make the point about coupon acceptance with the Sa who was being so unhelpful and difficult so Asda should IMHO replace the phones as they caused the problem by their Sa arguing about coupons acceptance - i hope you do write and raise that point with them Blue
I have shopped at Ada a lot since Balck Friday and am only too willing to e-mail their head office and complain about this incident on behalf of a friend and register my disgust at their inflexibility and ttitude

that is funny....lol........but altogether very much true. The amount of times tesco overcharge me......their usual crafty tactics is to place a promotion yellow sticker exactly next to the item which is not on offer like the other day when they had mature catherdral cheese on promotion but it was placed next to the mild and both looked identical (same colour packaging, same brands) and so I picked up a mild only to discover I had been charged full price........I tend to check my receipt straightaway and on this occassion I didn't. But by the time I got to c. s they had said the 20 mins time had lapsed and they cud no longer take it bk b'coz it was a fridge item. I was well annoyed........imagine all those people who dont bother checking their recipts. I tend to feel sorry for the older folk who have trouble reading the receipts ....... sad state of affairs
I went to T to get some bisto gravy granules when they were on offer at BOGF - they had the beef and chicken all stacked up next to each other at the end of the aisle where the offers always are and the big signs up saying BOGOF. I bought two beef and two chicken only to get home and find the chicken had been charged at full price not BOGOF so I phoned the store to complain and was told that beef granules were BOGOF but chicken were not and when I asked why they had all been stacked together where the offer was they just fobbed me off but no apologies
I was really annoyed and am now very very careful not to get caught again
My T also often place the offer signs in front of a different sized packet or jar so that you buy the wrong one and again i am sure they do this on purpose to catch people out and make them pay more - very naughty:mad:

Can someone point me to the Pataks and Kettle chips links. I did see them on post 2(?) but can't find them now.

Thank you all for contributing to the thread. I'm a late convert and picking it up slowly:D

Edit Found the Pataks on couponnet (I'd saved the link)

Managed to use the £10 off a £30 shop and a £2.50 Farm Foods this morning along with 2 x Kettle ridge crisps coupons and 2 x 25 points clubard coupons (for bread and fruit) for exactly £1 each so £13.30 off and paid £18 after BOGOF's / offers of £6 and got 115 points - excellent. :D
Only 3 more £10 off £30 shops to go........
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

A few of the Pataks Pastes are reduced to £1.20 in Sainsburys so therefore 70p with the 50p coupon.
