I have had hassle at 3 Asda's when trying to use coupons. One won't take internet and the other 2 say you cannot use coupons when something is on offer, so have now given up on them. Also had 2 mobile phones nicked out of my trolley (which I had paid for at the entertainment shop before doing rest of shopping), whilst I was arguing with the checkout about using coupons. The manager of the store basically accused me of trying some scam, so another reason why I won't go to Asda anymore, even if they were giving something away.

Phone Asda tell them you want your money back for the fones or you're going to the old bill.
How some of these people ever get employed anywhere is beyond me shrug.gif
And they actually think they are doing a "good job" :rotfl:

Either this was only online (your link didn't work) or they finished it early as was coming up at £4.10 () in my T's today.

Going to make a trip to Morrison's tomorrow - anyone know how long their offer is on for and is it all in the range? TIA

It was only on offer for 3 days - 1st till 3rd March. They were showing as full price in my store - I had to do a price check and I got them for 25p with voucher on 1st page.

I agree with Mad- don`t let them get away with such appalling behaviour- as I mentioned once before- why do people in `service` businesses have to treat us like this? I have worked for a company dealing with members of the public for over 10 years, then did 5 years in catering, so really can`t comprehend why some SA`s get like this. Partly the reason why our country is going to the dogs, I reckon......

After getting no joy and the security pretending to look at the cctv but according to them it not showing the till I was at I asked Asda to ring the Police. I was told if I wanted to involve the police I had to ring them myself on my mobile. Rang the police but they couldn't do owt except file a crime report as Asda told them the CCTV didn't cover the till. So basically £40 lost:(

On a positive note, I have booked my Free, Comp Win Holiday to Gambia and am going in 6 weeks:j:j:j:j:j

Go back to the store, tell them you want the IMEI numbers for the phones you purchased so that you can report them as being stolen and have them blocked :D

Did you buy the phones on a credit card? If u did they will be insured. Also i would write a long letter of complaint to manager cs at HO, give him all the facts and dont forget tell him how much a honest customer who spends lots in Asda every year (family too) is so unhappy n seriously thinking about taking buisness elsewhere.....

Failing all of the above you could just go into the store do a big shop, make sure you get something from every aisle, leave it on the belt and walk out (pain in the azz to put back)

Not a chance, IMEI is at the side of the phone box. S/A only scanned the barcode for the price not the IMEI.

Not unless BW has the receipt to proof it (if the receipt is not in the bag with the phone), even with receipt its quite difficult to claim via credit card company as this is not a scam of anything like that. This is a straight forward theft, credit card will not be able to help you.

2 ways BW can claim back the phone - it's via insurance (home & away contents) but there will be an excess & this normally will cost more than the phone. so this no can do.
Another way is insuring the phone. But BW hasn't got the phone with her to insured it.

It is not the supermarket responsibility if a customer lost their belonging(s). Everyday @ the supermarket you will hear them announcing on the mike to beware of theft. Therefore, I dont see how ASDA can help BW or anyone.

Btw, I don't work for Supermarket ( I wish!!!). B'fast is over now, got to get back to work. Never mind BW, its only money you can recover it back @ T using coupons to shop :P

As uusual the Dr is right. It was also one of the few times I paid by cash rather than CC. I did have the receipt in my purse though as proof I had bought the phones and when, but as the Dr says, not their responsibility. It was their attitude to it that p***d me off.
I don't know about everyone else, but I always turn my back on my trolley when paying, bit difficult not to, so very easy for someone to nick out of it if they want to. Just never thought anyone would. LEARN from it is the attitude now I have cooled down and had a few Blue Wkds since it happened.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
