The best morgtage for me?

Ok.. I own a house that I paid £215k and its now worth £350k I own my house.. No morgtage......

I want to get a £30k morgtage.

I got a quote of natwest and its £182 a month fixed for 2 years. then goes to £210 but of course ill move. they charge a £400 setup fee etc.

abbey offered me 5.59 (£186 a month) no setup fee. fixed for 2 years. no fee and they both charge me £215 to move my deeds after 2 years.

Am i getting the best deal?

It is difficult to tell as you do not mention the term of the mortgage/secured loan.

I thought you could have got better terms. What you spend the money on may also be a factor. You do not mention any debts.

If there is any one over the age of 17 living in the property then they have to sign a waiver to permit the mortgage company to evict them if repossesion becomes a factor.

You should be able to get a fee free deal for that amount - as ever depends on your cicumstances though

    Sorry - maybe I wasn't clear

You can get better than the Abbey fees free deal either with tie-ins during the rate period or without tie-ins during the rate period.
