Daily Mail Offers - A4 padded envelope

I am sending away for the Daily Mail beauty offer and they say send an A4 padded envelope. What size should I send?

An A4 ordinary envelope usually takes a letter folded in 3 but is an A4 padded envelope the same size as a sheet of paper?

Yes, an A4 envelope padded or not is the size of a large (A4) piece of paper, flat not folded.

A "DL" size envelope takes an A4 sheet folded in three.

An A4-sized envelope, whether normal or padded, would take an A4 sheet laid flat. (I think it's called a "C4" size)

It was a similar offer but run in the English Daily Mail and finished last week. I have the 20 tokens and now have to send them off.

    Thanks everyone for the replies.

they ask for you to send an a4 envelope, so your asking us what size envelope to send?
    the clues in the question!
a4 is a4, just like a pints a pint, and 2 inches is 2 inches!?
