im back !! long

we my apointment was at 1.30 this afternoon andat 1.57 pm i was declared bankrupt.

my experiance was no where as bad as i thought, there was no man with a big black cape and a curly wig which i was expecting.

when i got there a lovely lady looked through my paper work and me being me took more than i needed lol. the longest part was the form to fill in about getting help with the fees, but once this was done i had to wait a few mins before the clerk rushed in and said i needed to see the judge before 2pm as he has a case and will not be available till after 4pm so we rushed down the corridor and i went in to the judge at 1.55pm and all he asked was my name, if i knew what i was doing and was my only asset my £500 old car (his words lol) also did i get any advice from anyone. within 2 mins i was declared bankrupt.

i then went back with the clerk who had some paper work to do, then she called me into a room to speak to a or clerk on the phone to arrange my interview with the or. after the phone call i was given my piece of paper to say i was bankrupt and that was it. i was there for 1 hour thats all.

not sure how imfeeling at the mo but had to buy a choc bar on my way out as i needed a sugar boost as i felt light headed and had jelly legs. hopefully tonight i will be able to sleep.

thanks to you all on here i couldnt have done it with out you xx

  • Glad it went ok for you!

We were the same when we came out, I felt quite sick!

As for emotions, I am a bit all over the place today, think it has really hit home, especially after seeing it on the IS site today!

Anyway, sit down and have a cup of tea and chill out now, that's the first bit all done. x
