IPOQ and different totals

Hi,
I have just sent off my IPOQ I received the other day.
My question is, the amounts have changed as for as income is concerned, my income has increased slightly but my OH's contribution has decreased.
My original SOA had me having a £75 surplus (no IPA) but my new SOA I have submitted now shows only a £8 surplus!
There have been no lies on the form but im wondering if the OR will look at the change in amounts and want proof of my partners contribution???
Does anybody think that this will happen at all??
My OH took the BR quite hard and is now worrying that the OR will strt trying to poke into her lifestyle ans spending etc even though it was me that went BR not her.
Any advice???

It would all depend on what her contribution was in relation to her wages, if she was earning and taking home 2k per month but was only contributing £400 towards the household bills they may have something to say.0

But I thought because SHE isnt the one going BR, they cant ask for proof of wage off her???
She really isnt keen on that idea as, like I said, she finds the whole process very intusive as it is!!0 -
And to make matters worse, Ive realised that ive made a mistake on the IPOQ form!! Needed to increase my monthly income by £45 but forgot to put the increase on there!:eek:0

they cant force her to give her income, but with the lack of that information they can just set her contribution as half of all the household joint outgoingsHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Hi debtinfo:
Can you elaborate on the fact that "they can set her contribution as half of all the house hold joint outgoings".
Im not sure what you mean by that??
Call me stupid if its obvious??:o0 -
if the partner is unwilling to reveal their income the OR can assume that they contribute to 50% of all the joint outgoings, his leaves the bankrupts income to pay the other 50% plus personal outgoings. the rest is surplusHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.

Ok debtinfo, I understand now.
Can I also ask, I have made a slight error on my IPOQ form with regards to my income (I forgot to include a regular bonus which equates to around £40 a month). Problem is, ive already sent the form off. Is there any way I can resolve this??
Will they accept a phonecall off me stating my error in the hope that they will manually adjust it on my behalf over the phone??0 -
yeah, just give them a ring, shouldnt be a problemHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
