Apologies for this being so region specific but deals were so hot I wanted to share.
Wife and I went xmas shopping in Southampton yesterday - very crowded and no real bargains.
Today we went to Gunwharf keys in Portsmouth and I was blown away at the discounting (although yes it is a discount centre).
GAP - 30% of Gap Hooded sweatshirts as per normal but 40% off pretty much anything else in store. Gap Jeans were a fiver each (normally 25 or 30 quid) and Ladies winter jackets reduced from £40 to £14. Stock availability was very good and the prices were even better than their new year sales last year. Also it was really quiet, hardly any people about.
Fat face prices were 50% to 70% off and pretty much everything in white stuff was 50% discount as well.
We didnt go anywhere else as after yesterday had had enough but would advise anyone doing xmas shopping in portsmouth or southampton to give it a look. Certainly worth going before the sales begin as I think they have already set the prices - all that will change 1st Jan is big big posters and a 90 minute queue in and out the car park.
