Hi,
Does anyone have any useful info on the most energy efficient way to heat a new build house if you have gas central heating?? Is it cheaper to keep the heating on low the whole time on the thermostat or only use the timer and set it for when you are in??

we've been having this conversation since we bought the house two years ago but have never come to a conclusion!
I thought someone special may know the answer!!
Thanks

Thankyou for making a new member feel so welcome on the site!
I have spent quite a lot of time looking through the site and if I put cost effective heating or anything similar into the search I get lots of very useful info on insulation and energy saving light bulbs (which I am already have in my house) but just wanted to know about the different ways of using my heating and how much energy each way might use. If you can direct me to where you are looking that answers my question then that would be much apreciated.

Read through the first few pages on the 'Gas and Electricity' board, it really does come up every couple of days. Try searching 'heating on constant' or something.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
