Is it me or have we forgotten already?

Hey all!
Just an observation, I am no longer in the mortgage game nor the home owner game and wont be for a while as you will see from my sig.
However is it me, or have we forgotten what has been going on over the last few years.
I have noticed people asking questions about silly borrowing and trying to justify high house prices. The government are trying to get the housing market going again and I fear we are pushing towards another fall.
More jobs will be going, more secure jobs like civil service and big companies with goverment contracts. If the tories get in this will be huge, they dont waste money like Labour do or did.
The banks are holding us back a little with restricted lending but how long will this last?
Or am I just being a spoil sport??
