Hi guys,
I need some advice pls. i ordered a part from a site on the net for my car for £138 paid with a debit card. Long story short the part never arrived and after 10 days i was told i would be given a refund which also has never materialised. I am constantly calling the company and being fobbed off each time. Can anyone advise me on what course of action to take regarding final request before legal proceedings and what this entails if i was to go to court. How much would it cost me, would i be able claim back my costs etc?
Thanks

You need to send a 'letter before action'. Set out your case, what you want them to do and within what timescale. Then end with:
Unless this matter is satisfactorily resolved within the next X days, I will start legal proceedings without further reference to you. The costs of starting this action will also be added to my claim.
Send it recorded and keep a copy.0 -

Give then between 7 and 10 days. If no response you can apply online at https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk:beer: If I say something you like....Please hit the thanks button :beer:0
