Is there anything I can do??
I have a loan with Real Finance.....the nightmare started when I was accepted and the money went into my bank account. A couple of weeks later I had a visit from a representative of the company who began asking strange questions, it transpires the rep who originally visited to complete the application had 'manufactured' a second job for me together with payslips!!!! Ironically it was a company I had applied to for a second job. I was asked to give a formal statement to the effect that I hadn't got a second job an was told that it was pretty obvious I was an innocent party and was not about to be accused of fraud. The rep was going to be investigated.
A few weeks later yet another representative arrived at my home, this time chasing payment, I duly explained I had completed a direct debit form at the outset.........yes you've guessed, they had the original but a copy had not been sent to my bank. So a payment was grudgingly made by ebit card and I was told a new direct ebit form would be sent to me....it never arrived so consequently yet another call was made to me the following month chasing payment and yet again it was promised that a form would be sent, this time by recorded delivery. Yet again nothing!!
By this time I was pretty annoyed at the whole shoddy farce so I wrote a letter complaining, not only of the missing direct debit forms but also about the fraudulent claim I had a second job and more worryingly that it involved a company I was looking to work for. I received an apology and a cheque for £100 for the stress and inconvenience caused. This was about 2 months ago. Again I had a third call about a payment, again it had to be made by debit card.....I finally received a direct debit form last Friday which was duly signed and posted back, Today I get a call asking what date they should use my debit card details to take the next payment due!!!!!!
I wish I had never got involved with this company, but at the time it seemed like a good idea. Is there anything I can do? Quite honestly I feel like telling them to go to hell and refuse to make any payments.

Sounds like you're pretty unhappy with the service provided. I'd suggest the best way forward would be to repay all the money and close down the loan account then have nothing more to do with this organisation.0

If you think you have been party to a fraud then wash your hands of it and pay the money back to the lender.
Forget any fanciful notions that you are going to pocket the money and walk away from your responsibilities - that would be fraud.0 -
Pay the money back if you can, and get out before it gets any more complicated.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
