I wouldn't say it's crazy, there are many reasons to. I dont get the points?
You get 750 points plus 100ish on double points, where does the other 500 come from.

Sorry, I haven't put it in that post but on your Tesco home page there are a selection of Xmas products which you have to choose 5 seperate item from to get an extra 500 points. Mine came to approx £13 and some of them were quite un-Tesco like (i.e. not at rip-off prices, lol). My actual order was for 3 cases of beer, 5 of these items and 4 bottles of pepsi max on BOGOF. The order will come to £40 including delivery but will have 1300+ points attached to it. Of course, 6 cases of this beer and ignore the Xmas 500 pts deal will still result in over 800 points for a £43 spend. Depends how much you value the points and, just as importantly, how much you value your time AND back

spot on - its the big con no one ever seems to moan about.

we went from 24 x 330ml as standard for bottles and 24 x 500 (or 440)ml as standard for beer crates.

now its either less bottles, or smaller bottles.

either way its less beer for the money.

i'll stick to paying £19 for 24 x 500ml imported Stella from my local offy.

unless anyone can find anywhere that still sells my favourite beer - Heineken in 20x330ml bottles - can't find it anywhere now :mad:

ive just been to my local store and got 3 boxes of fosters which are in on the deal for £20 plus i spent over £30 and got a box of carlsberg exp for £6! :beer:

Only 1 box of speckled hen in my local Tesco and it didn't look like all the other offers had much in stock expect for Stella and Foster by the entrance

Yep definitely always used to be 3 x 18 packs for £20.... i'm going to hold out, someone will hopefully have that offer before Crimbo.

Asda have cases of 24 cans (440ml) of carling for £10. Would work out at 48 cans for £20. Slightly better deal than Tesco as you would only get 45 cans for £20.

Forgot about that extra 500pts offer! Just gone back into my order coming this weekend and added it on. 1250 free points before I've ever got my shopping points!
