No one seems to have mentioned, MHA and BLS are trading names of Lloyds TSB, you are dealing with the same collections dept in brighton that made the agreemant, ignor the post code on the letters, they are re-directed to brighton according to royal mail

You may also hear from Sechiari, Clark and Mitchell, whilst they are solicitors, they are the LTSB pet solicitors, the letters are mostly sent by the same staff in the collections dept.

Yep. Should have mentioned it really. :o:)

    Hi Frazer

What complaint do you want to make to Lloyds?
I'd suggest your write to them offering a monthly repayment that you can afford- and then make sure you stick to it. Do not be bullied into agreeing to another agreement that is for more than you can afford.

And if you are still using the overdraft then open a new bank account with someone you don't owe any money to.

You should be able to get any basic bank account - these have no overdraft and therefore have no credit check - see this link for details and the facilities offered with each http://www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk/pdfs/bank_accounts.pdf

With regard to the bank charges - as you are probably aware there was a not very good result from the court test case recently. MSE are still considering the next move and if there is another way to appeal against the bank charges - keep an eye out for developments here

However once you have moved your current banking you could ask them to freeze interest & charges on your old overdraft in the letter offering a monthly repayment (they may or may not but always worth asking).
