Hi all
Just logged in to this board after a few years (!) last time was 2006. Since then I left my OH and shouldered all the debt... but on the positive side I've just logged into my Payplan account and I only have 12k to "lose" (or is it "gain".... hmmmm philisophical!)
Anyway, I just wanted to say something positive! I posted a SOA some way time ago and I must say the debt got worse before it got better, but, after moving to a basic acct with Lloyds before starting the DMP (CAB advice) that insists on telling me my balance after I get cash out (god send) and NO overdraft, the debt is not going up and it's coming down quite considerably. In a year I've paid off nearly £10k!
I wanted to share with you all the quite amazing kick I got when I logged into the payplan account and realised I was 2k better off than I thought. Now, there is quite a kick to be had from thinking where else I can save/get money from to get it paid off even quicker!
keep on keeping on ....
