as my parents live abroad we're having our xmas meal in jan and giving small table gifts with a £2 budget. i have my parents to buy for, sister, bro in law, 4 month old niece, 6yr old niece and 4yr old nephew to buy for.
want to give something a bit more interesting than a box of maltesers.
does anyone have any suggestions?

Colouring book and crayons for the 4 and 6 year-olds perhaps, or mini figures (eg animals / car / doll) or cute decorations for them to put on their tree every year as 'their own'.
Lots of very novel bargains at Poundland and the like!0 -
thank you

bumping this for any other ideas x0 -
We are doing the same, so I went to wilkinsons and got small things to make a "party bag" type gift for the children aged 6,3,and 2 and the adults will get a few truffles or ferrero rocher plus a £1 scratchcard.0

i saw some niknaks in cadr factory today at the till.... flashing keyrings, dangly and flashing pens etc for older kids, teddies for a couple of pound for the baby, altho this would be more of a token as i'm not sure they are suitable for that age!! Then there were novelty bottle stoppers (got my mil one, lol) and other lil bits

It's a small glass bowl (or plastic for kids!!) filled with gold sweets ( rochers, werthers, gold coins, whisper golds) with a scratchcard in it, perhaps a nice poem printed out:
Here's a little pot of gold
especially for you
who knows... if you are lucky
your dreams will all come true!

If you get the pots cheap...(morrisons for the kids, and a cheap place for the adults, got mine 4 for 70p-ish!!) and then split the bags of coins, rochers etc, it works out REALLY cheap
