And i am sooooo relieved its over and honestly is was so easy and simple, its hard to see now why i was so worked up about it!
My apponitment at court was not untill 11 0clock, we arrived very early about 10.15 and as someone failed to show we seen around 10.25.
First we was taken to a side room to go through all the paperwork, the lady there was just brilliant! So friendly and chatty, we had such a laugh! It was like visiting a best friend rather than what we was actually there for!
We spent just over an hour, mostly chatting about the recession, and our kids, immigration, you name it we covered it!
Once paperwork was checked we were taken back to reception to pay our fees and was given a reciept for it.
Then it was time to see the judge, i was very nervous about this part especially!
After a longggg wait we was told the judge was so very busy he would sign the forms and we could go, no need to see him in person:T
So 1.15 we was declared bankrupt and after having another brief laugh and joke with the lovely lady who checked the forms originally and a hug too, we were on our way home.:D
So ALL you lovely people were right, i AM asking myself now why i got myself into such a tizzy to begin with, it was actually a very pleasant experience and so very far from what i expected.
Anyone who has yet to go through this, PLEASE, PLEASE do not worry, it honestly really is a very simple process, no one will judge you, you will be treated with dignity and respect you deserve!
Just want to send out a HUGE thankyou to all the wonderful people here who give their freetime to help others throughout and beyond this process, your efforts are truly appreciated and priceless:beer:
