Good Morning - My update

I am sure that the people who got angry / cross with my a few months ago will be really pleased with my progress. I know I am.
My credit cards are all cleared. I have yet to cancel them.
All my direct debits for this month (until 25th) have left my account and my account balance is £24.33 (I brought some toothbrush heads off Amazon last night so £13 of that is going out soon)
Now this is the 'shocker'.... We had a big bash, I brought drinks and then the next day I brought dinner, we've had people round for drinks, I have got hammered on more than one occasion (not sure why??) and I have syphoned off £400 into a seperate account. I keep tapping hubby and asking him for money, just to cover 'xyz' so i don't go overdrawn (after putting that money aside)
He gets paid weekly for his agency work, so if we can survive on that, we're laughing!
having said that I have not yet told the WFTC people that he is earning now, but I will do, just I have lots on at the moment.
(Word of advice to anyone, don't bother trying to claim more than you should, or 'forgetting' to update them, they'll just take the money away when you need it most)
So thanks again to everyone who gave me a kick, it was the start I needed.

Hi GW,
Great to hear the progress that you have made and well done for continuing to post, despite some of the negative comments. Keep up the good work!:beer:Now debtfree except for the mortgage!0 -
Thanks for the encouragment.
I get paid tomorrow, so I have already set up a transaction to transfer £400 into the other account to see how we survive without it.
I will do this! and if I can keep this up, then next month I will have £1300 or there abouts in a savings account!
Oh and the pence I have in the account, I keep syphoning that off too, just in the same way that I would if it was change in my pocket!
I am very pleased with my progress, despite going to tesco's and spending £150 on Monday - (Fruit alone cost £40) I stocked up on their meat rather than the butchers
Thanks
GW
I did get R&R on some pork chops
