EDIT:i've just thought i accidentally clicked on something in my browser setting a couple of weeks ago i didn't know what i'd clicked on but i've just had a look and it might be that the box to accept third party cookies was unclicked i feel quite embarrassed and stupid if it works out to be this.
Yep, turning off 3rd party cookies will kill tracking.
At least it looks like you've found the reason0 -

Its noticible that most the negatives on that thread ( Chief thread) are from a relatively small number of the Chief membership most of whom only joined the site in the last year or so + 1 longer term member who has had an apparent personal axe to grind for a long time.
Maybe clickers who click on that site should look at what was confirmed ( click date wise) on Chief as of 11th May and ask themselves whether they would have got paid for those clicks any quicker elsewhere bearing in mind as of 11th May 2p and over clicks ( Bar Price Digger who feel able to delay payments as long as possible) were confirmed up until end of April when most clicks dont get made payable for 2/3 Months or in some cases longer from the click date so even a month on those clicks would not have been paid elsewhere any quicker.
I will always click on Chief and Cascade cos I am certain that I will both always get paid for them and get also paid for them quicker than most clicks elsewhere.
On the references to "Zee" I never said that nobody would ever get paid, I said that I believed that nobody would always get paid, I fail to understand anyone who did no spends at 50% rates who got paid for 50% ( or less) of what they did which = 25% or less ( in cashback rate terms) who believe that they did well out of it, those who got paid for more than 25% ( In Cashback terms) of what they did unwittingly posted in favour of the site on MSE which lead to others being lured in and basically conned.Worth adding that "Zee" was only going for barely 9 Months whereas Chief/Cascade have been going for a few years.
Its also worth noting that for a couple of months leading up to September 2009 "Zee" used EL thread as a means of recruiting offering sweets to those who signed up to its forum despite MSE main boards supposededly being free of advertising, its also worth noting who got PPR and who didnt. :rotfl: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/25093455#Comment_25093455 ) 3139

£500 +There are stacks of 90p surveys on TCB, tried a few. Have managed to get 1 to track so far. Hopefully the others will follow suit
I noticed that on CBK the MSM quotes were tracking twice a day! The second one for each day has been rejected now. This was for doing just the 1 quote mind0 -
Totally agree with BLF re: Chief & Cascade.
Communication is shocking on there at the moment (and that's being kind!) - and boy oh boy, do the owners seem to have a curse (if you believe what we're (albeit very rarely) told). Furthermore, they certainly aren't at present sites to be with if you depend on consistent payment dates. However, so far, we have always been paid (and as I've previously said those 2 sites are easily my best payers) & what keeps me positive is the fact that they recently took the Offerad hit themselves, to the tune of a fair few £0000 apparently. Can't imagine that they'd have paid out for that, for which I understand they weren't contractually liable, to then just go under. Suspect cash-flow is at present an issue though, hence the delays. Have to say that the recent change over of operating system was handled terribly though. We should have been told in advance of the need to change the way a lot of us were clicking & why it was changed over when there was a holiday issue / no updates being done for about 10 days defies belief.
On no sites are we ever guaranteed payment (I think we were all thinking "there goes our cash" the other week when plenty of sites went down for a day or two (without notice or explanation) - but I assume we all took back up again as soon as they were operational again & no further negative posts about them).
Overall though, for my part, I continue to click away on Cascade & Chief.0 -
I hope you are both right.
I agree that the communication is almost non existent and that is what starts people getting angry and fearing the worst . You can't say those fears are unfounded because the company has been running a while. Years old companies do go bust, just look at Woolworths. Not only does there seem to be a cashflow problem but I understand that they have some personal problems too, which I'm sure can't be helping the situation. It is up to individuals to make up their own minds as to whether they wish to carry on clicking. I will continue to click for the time being for several reasons...My accounts are up to date, No click on any site is guaranteed and they are the best for daily clicks. If any of those reasons change then I may reconsider but at present I think that it's worth the risk.
I don't want to keep harping on about the negatives. So I'll finish on a positve...I think that selling their home was over and above and they should be applauded for that. It's nice to see people with a conscience.0 -

Me too. I know they will take their time about confirming and paying, but I'm sure the money will reach me in the end.0
