Received mine today, when I was ordering it my hubby said he didn't need a new wallet so I ordered it for his brother for his xmas present... hubby came home from work today took one look at the wallet and within 30seconds he was emptying his old wallet and filling the new one.! wish I'd ordered more cos they really are good quality. I guess the brother in law will have to be happy with the pen and pencil lol.

:rotfl: That exact scenario played out in my house this morning when my parcel arrived :rotfl:

Looked on the website and the offer is supposedly valid until January 31st. No good for Xmas but certainly worth putting aside for birthdays etc.

My sister's fiance will have to make do with a pen set and a box of Celebrations this year

    Thank so much OP :T

Mine also arrived this morning and I hid it away for fear of my OH seeing it and deciding he needed a new wallet. I'm giving mine to my brother and think he'll love it! :j What a bargain!

  • Mine arrived today. Pens great, wallet ok. Overall a bargain for £8.99. Just worried that it looks like a free gift!

I thought the exact opposite. Why do you think it would look like a free gift? It was packaged well and once its in a bit of wrapping paper instead of a jiffy bag I think any man would be pleased to receive it.

I picked mine up from the delivery office today! WOW! I think it is fab for £8.99 delivered. The wallet is a bit chunky but it has got everything you need in it - a photo bit, coins, cards, notes- fab. The boxes look great too - they certainly do not look like free gifts.

Mine are now wrapped up! X
  • I think the box for the pen set is absolutely stunning and really expensive-looking.

See............problem is, now that I'm thinking about it, I want to keep the pen set for myself. :o I love a nice pen.

Uh oh, think maybe sister's fiance will be getting socks and chocolates this year :o :rotfl:

I got mine this morning too - absolutely lush!! Well done, OP!!
  • Mine arrived today and there is no way it looks like a freebie, the pens are lovely and solid and the wallet even has a zip in the middle for loose change, I don't think I have ever seen a wallet with a loose change section. I can't see any man being dissapointed with this.
    Just my opinion.
Thanks to the op who first posted this.
  • I received mine today - thanks OP

I have to disagree with some of the comments - I was gobsmacked by the set - the wallet feels, smells and looks like leather and is absolutely stunning. I dont think I have ever seen a free gift look like this wallet. In fact TJ Hughes have some designer wallets for £15 ( reduced from £80) at the moment and they look a lot cheaper and nastier than this one !

And the box the pens come in is beautiful. I want it to keep my earrings in - its a hard case snap shut case - not a cheap cardboard one. The pens are quite heavy and substantial - though it did remind me of the sort of pens solicitors give you to sign your life away with !

I would personally have been happy to pay £30 - £40 for this set and still feel I got a bargain.

I opened it up in a room of 5 people and all of them cooed and asked me to get their other half a set !

I love it so thanks again

  • Anyone still waiting for theirs ? I ordered on the 7th Dec, money taken on the 11th and still not arrived.

I phoned them up a few days ago and they just said it would be here by the 24th, getting worried now.
