    Hi
You could also look for Northern Nights bedding at 300+ thread count - its lovely stuff. Mainly sold on QVC, but can get some real bargains on ebay.

    Regards

    Vicki
    Thanks Vicki

I did have a look and a lot of the high thread count was wait listed or not quite what I was looking for (ie too expensive! ;))

I bought some Sheridan bedding (Australian make) sold in Debenhams, House of Frazer etc. when I got married 7 years ago. I still use the bedding, the fitted sheet feels very silky and soft, it doesnt come cheap but I waited for it to go down 70%. Not sure if it is still same quality, maybe someone else can say?

    :)
Have had a look on the Debenham's website, but no info - I hope to pop in later in the week:D

Dunelm Mill is a fantastic place to get towels, bedding, curtains, fabrics etc. especially in their sale - on now. Check out the site but it doesn't stock everything. I got a fabulous memory foam mattress topper last week and I get all my towels and bedding there.
I had a look on the site, but they all seem to be 50% polycotton rather than htc sheets :(.

Looks good for everyday sheets, but not for the 'special sheets'

    :)

To add to babybimbles' post, Sheridan bedding (which is really lovely quality but pretty expensive) is also sold in Boundary Mill. Once it is new season the old season stock gets sent to Boundary Mill and they always have lots in, and it is far cheaper. HTH.

I know this thread (no pun intended :-) is about bedding but whilst we're on the general subject does anyone know where to get top quality thick soft towels like those often seen in 5* hotels? I'm looking to get a good set.
The reason people don't move right down inside the carriage is that there's nothing to hold onto when you're in the middle.

the yorkshire linen co http://www.yorkshirelinen.com/index.php?dept=1&sec=49&range=257 has a great offer on multi buys e.g eygptian 100% cotton 200 count one fitted and 1 flat double sheet £18.99.
Or if you want a 400 count take a look at http://www.chilternmills.co.uk/ £16.99 for double flat.
Postage for both sites are just under £6...a bit steep
  • Have a look at http://www.sheridanuk.com they have some really reasonably priced 300, 600, and 1000 thread count sheets. They also make a range in a 1200 thread count, but that is a little more money.

Your first two posts today and you've sought out and resurrected threads about sheets from 2005 and 2006  . I'm sure both OPs would have found their sheets by now.
