I made another loaf last night.......and it turned out lovely!!! :j Funnily enough I followed a recipe from the breadmaker book and put it on the setting it suggested!!
I did struggle with slicing it though. Any suggestions???

A decent bread knife.:D"A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain." Mark Twain0

I find if you can resist the temptation to tear straight into it (I can't very often  ) if you leave it to get really cold (i.e. if you make a loaf first thing in the morning, leave it until evening to slice it), then it slices much more easily, I can get thin enough slices then to fit into my irritatingly small toaster. I just use either a bread knife, or a ham knife, whichever comes to hand first.
Otherwise, if I need to freeze it fairly quickly, then I find my electric carving knife does the trick.

A proper breadknife and a cold loaf will make slicing a breeze.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
