Large candles

Hi fellow moneysavers!

I am wondering if any of you know where I could get some large pillar candles (approx. 6' diameter X 6') at good prices.

I bought a lot last year when I went to Price's outlet @ around 3 quid each (vanilla). I was going to have another 'killing' this year but they didn't do any (apart from some fancily wrapped ones @ high price).

Any suggestions welcome!

superdrug had some candles in the sale ! pretty large with three wicks and a silver stand for £3.49. smaller ones available too.

Ikea are pretty cheap all year round for candles

Most pound shops have large candles, that's where I get mine!

Why buy them on the high street at such a low price when you can go to a PartyLite party and get embarassed into buying the same candles at twice the price (or more).

Be careful with some cheap candles. Last time I bought some, despite cutting the wick down to the required length, they gave off a 'black smoke' effect which I didn't notice straight away.

Had to redecorate the lounge!

Might be worth a whizz round Asda - they had candles (some larger ones) in their Xmas Sell-off.

Ikea have some of the best and best priced candles around and they last for ages.
