the reason i havnt paid it is because i lost my job, now we are down sizing our house and can easily afford to pay it back the hole amount in Jan. i have tried to tell them they are getting the money. is it right i can hide the car? can the police pull me over because its stollen?0

I know you can hide your car from baliffs (I didnt say it was right I just said it can be done!)and a baliff is there to recover a debt, much the same way as the finance company will be there.
As for whether or not the cars classed as stolen, I really don't know
Be warned though if it is classed as stolen, most police cars are fitted with ANPR which automatically scans your number plate and will alert them to your car

I would say kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Park it in a lock up and not only will you be hiding it but you will save money on fuel. Its only a few weeks to Jan anyway.
As to the stolen bit, if your solicitor can advise you to hide it then I'm sure he/she could give you advice on the stolen bit0 -
If it has a court order on it then it's probably too late, or at least very expensive to pay all the charges...0

back street one, you dont own the car so it would be classed as stolen.0
