And then there are men like me who look and go "Brown is in this year's selection - as it has been every year..."

Yes but last year's brown may have been mocha whereas this year's brown is definitely chocolate:p:rolleyes::rotfl:

Apart from the mountains, I don't think their countryside is radically different from ours.

    The cities however...

I did tokyo - but I really want to do hokkaido next time and see monkeys in hot springs and stay in buddist temples and just relax and absorb culture and history (and then go back to party in the city :D:D), its just so darned expensive :o

  • Kayleigh,
Did you sing the rude version of Good King Wenceslas?

    ...Linda xx

    I'm intrigued now. :D

Basically, I was giving out programs and a man came in and asked for Alison someone (didn't catch the surname he said). I thought he was looking for a friend of his (I'd had plenty of people asking me about things I knew nothing about) so I told him they were probably inside. He said something else, which I didn't catch as I looked behind him and saw the mayor of Bath standing there. (At least, I think it was the mayor, he had one of those chains on and I can't think of anyone else who wears those) It turned out Alison whatshername was the woman in the charge of showing VIPs to their seats. Cue red face, frantic exit and then stammered apologies from me when I'd found Alison whoever. Thankfully, he was very nice about it, but I'm still blushing. :o

It'll be even worse now - they've let their currency appreciate.

    Bullet train is good apparently...

One of our friends just got back from a 2 week trip to Japan - Tokyo, Kyoto and somewhere else. And it was a business trip which meant the japanese entertained them for the entire fortnight...
