help please: how do i get my credit score up, if cant get a loan ?

finally paid to see my credit score which is set at poor and i cant get a loan etc which i have tried, so i have no idea how to get my credit score up as i have never got any credit cards or bothered with loans or finance!

please anyone give me some advice on what i can do to get my score up as i don't know what else to do other than when got on the electoral role and been in same bank for 9 years.

catalogues are really easy, then capital one credit card.

yeah never used catalogues either lol, thought not getting cards and stuff from catalogues was staying good, but with this score thing not any more

what exactly does your credit report actually say

are you on the electoral roll (your original statement makes no sense) and does it show on your credit reports

do you work and do you have an income

are you linked to anyone with a poor credit record

If you simply suffer from not having an credit history then its best to try your own bank for a credit card .... use it regularly for things you buy anyway and pay in full each month (set up a DD for full payment)
