Lidl's latest flyer (Available Mon 19/6) has a chunky looking DAB radio with 8 preset channels, LCD display with a clock & alarm in Wood or silver finish. Looks like a good piece of kit for the price. £49.99
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist.

I'm toying with the idea of getting one of these Lidl radios as it has sleep timer, however I was listening to a 'Gadget Detective' show & the guy said the 'Talk Sport' Dixons exclusive DAB radio was very good. It seems it also has sleep timer & the battery lasts longer than the average DAB radio & is made by 'Pure'. He highly recommended it. Any idea's on these two radios.Nice to save.0

I saw this in another MSE posting:
Creative SoundWorks 500 DAB Radio for £39.99 available from Amazon - please see link below. FREE Super Saver Delivery

This is a great deal at half the price of other online shops for a quality DAB radio at a budget price. There are some user reviews on another website who are charging TWICE the price - please see here http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/ShopDisplayInfoMain.asp?e=F1A4E8CD-03E6-444D-8DAD-A6EF1D191520&td=10 -

The 'talksport' model is the cheapest feeling radio i've ever handled.0 -
In my experience it's worth paying a bit extra for a DAB radio. The cheapest ones really are...cheap.
I had to send my first one back when I thought I was getting a bargain and ended up being out of pocket on the postal fees.0 -
There's a little review of the creative soundworks dab 500 here: http://www.goaudio.co.uk/creative-soundworks-500-in-depth.html?PHPSESSID=e6dbc6969e159a143761427b2da3bada
I just ordered one for the bedside table. I have owned other creative soundworks products and find them to be good quality/performance and from time to time you find their stuff at really silly prices
