I did pickled onions, pickled eggs, beetroot, olive oil in lovely triangular bottles with either chopped garlic or chillies in the bottom. Chutneys? If you have nice bottles you could fill with bath salts and tie with pretty ribbon around top.
Have you got to sell something or can you do a stall to win a prize?Visit beautiful Mid Wales:j0 -

CAkes buns and biscuits go down really well here. I would make treble the amount you are thinking of because they will fly off the stall. Also guess the weight of the Christmas cake, thats a good crowd puller and money maker.
Good luck with it.

We had our fair last Friday... One stall we had was a bucket of water with a lemon floating on top... If you could balance 20p on top you won, impossible! The pickled onions were £3, shallots were £3.50. People liked the fact they were homemadeVisit beautiful Mid Wales:j0

We've had our fayre today and I was surprised and disappointed at the turn out. If you want to do something make it low cost and quick to make then when you sell them (or not) you won't be upset. Fairy cakes as opposed to big round cakes, biscuits and the like should be great sellers.Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx
March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.0 -

Thanks for all the great ideas, I think I will go with the cakes0 -
