How do the cashbacks affect housing benefit?

hi guys, maybe this is in the wrong place, but because this concerns shopping i thought it might be the best place to ask this question.
I've been reading about cashback sites, but never b4 tried it, please can someone explain what they are, and what, if any, affect do they have on housing benefit

I would suggest that they are just discounts/rebates against spending.
You buy something for £100 and get £5 cashback = you bought something for £95.
No effect on HB or other means tested benefits.0 -

I;d agree with that - it's essentially a discount on a purchase, so no effect on benefits.0
