Sorry to double post, but just rang comet and they said all orders for the £1 fridge will be refunded in the next 3-5 days.

Just got an invoice through the post for 4 fridges from comet for £23 and a confirmed delivery date and reciept !!

i got an invoice/receipt in the post today too.
very strange!
i havent heard from them apart from this. i dont think they are going to honour it but surely sending a paper receipt puts them in a weak position...?

Edit: just checked online system and it says 'being processed for refund'

ah, there working now. there was a tv show on the bbc lastnight, a consumer kind of show, it was saying that if a shop has an item that is mispriced and you buy said item at that price once they take your money the shop must by law give you said item, show was called dont get screwed, it may be on the bbc iplayer
