Very (Very.co.uk) discount codes thread 1

I checked out the promotions t&cs on their website, it said something about them claiming the cost back if you were not personally entitled to use the code. So I mailed them and got this response this morning...

Thank you for your e-mail.

The promotion code ZG003 is for first orders over £60 but is only valid for mastercard employees and customers.

The code is valid until the 01/01/10.

So as much as I wanted the discount I have decided against using it, just in case, as the kidizoom camera I want is not on any promotion if the voucher does bounce, I might end up paying more!

Ordered a phone for my son for christmas using this deal. No money has gone out my bank yet, although the goods have been delivered. I hope they honour the £30 for me (first time customer). If not can i send back and get a refund?
Have since found the phone on offer elsewhere anyway for the same price.

my first order had to be returned last week as it had been used, so i take it i could use this voucher as technically this will be the first order i would keep? thoughts? thanks

My flat mate asked me to pick my presents and i am glad i read this thread i went along to Very.co.uk and ordered 2 pairs of trainers (in the sale) and some Giorgio Armani Emporio He for Men 100ml came to £45.46 with the £30 off we paid for P+P but that was 3.95£ one item arrived the next day and we are waiting for the other 2 items. Becauss the trainers were in the sale we saved £48.50. Just hope they charged him £45.46.

I ordered Guitar hero 5, paid by card and got the discount ok, however VERY sent an email saying thankyou for your first order and you now have £3000 to spend !!!! I dont want it does anyone know how to close the account once I have received the goods????

Got a black nintendo Dsi with this code for 119. The free delivery code worked for me too. VERY pleased!
Paid with mastercard. They charged the full price but refunded £30 at the same time.

i got my delivery today and the dresses dont fit so if i send them back and order something else insread does it count as my first order

Cant get the free delivery code to work, anyone got another one?

Also a game I'm ordering is not released until December, will this make any difference to the code for £30 off? ie will it cause any problems with 1 item being in stock, another not yet released?
