  • Happy Friday all,

Not sure what I spent this week as it has been a hard week. I will sit down and do my calculations tonight.
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • I'm over budget again, slowing been eating away at the next two weeks worth of budgets. Thank god I get paid before Christmas (although it's all been accounted for already). big fat red for me please PP, I can't even add it up as I don't want to know!!

Will really try again in the new year, once Christmas is out of the way. getting really demotivated... hopefully new year new start etc. xx

  • Another £2.39 on bad food, I get the feeling this is something that will need to be addressed in the new year.

I went to my Slimming World Xmas meal last night, which was wicked, and came home with my money completely intact (paid for the meal a few weeks ago). So that's two evenings out this week without spending a penny :rotfl:No idea how I pulled that off.

Hugs to all those that have had a hard week keeping their pennies where they are meant to be xxx

    Hey all!

Not been around much this week or been keeping track of money but I'm fairly sure I've blown it buying DB his outfit for his xmas concert so I'm (albeit early) declaring a red this week!

Happy belated birthday to Mr Pointy! Hope everyone's had a good week!

    xxx

I'm pushing the edge of my week's budget, but should be able to make it as long as don't do any impulse shopping ... which has already happened twice this week! At least I don't really have to worry too much about Xmas presents this year, just for my family for a change ... my friends and I have decided that just seeing each other for the first Xmas in 4 years will be present enough!
So approx £15 for today and tomorrow, I do have to buy a secret santa pressie for £5, but shouldn't be spending on anything else, fingers crossed!

  • Red for me again this week.... Going to have £20 again next week but this is for grocerys too! Got a night out on the Friday for a mini-work christmas do (the humbugs in management haven't organised an official one!) but I'll have to fiddle my wages for January to be able to afford it! (unless I manage to have 7 whole nsds which is incredibly unlikely!)

  • Hi

Ive gone so wrong this week....HUGE red for me!

but next week...thinking £10 as Ive got a hugely busy week with work so not intending to shop alot! that was my downfall this week - looking in shops and 'needing' lots which if I hadnt been in the shops I wouldnt have realised I needded!! : )

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Yay, I managed to stay within budget!! NSD yesterday would have helped. The main thing I think is the taking my lunch, and am doing so well on that little challenge!
Not sure if I'll do it this week, it's my last week before holidays so all sorts of incidentals will pop up. But I guess is better to have a budget to blow than to just spend the money without thinking :)
