  • Hi,

Just a little note on the seemingly 'great' Morrisons prawns deal...I went the other day thinking they'd be ideal for Christmas etc however they have already been frozen therefore are not suitable for home freezing for Christmas and so all 3 packs must be used within a couple of days! The fish counter man said it was a bit daft as the boxes apparently only say this in tiny text somewhere. I didn't bother buying them as I couldn't eat that many king prawns in 2 days!

I wonder how many people will have dicky tummies come Boxing Day...!

    Thanks,

    S1ASY

to be honest most prawns are like this, i dont think they have been stuck in a freezer, but because prawns are generally small when they are shipped from where they are caught they are packed in icce, which in turn freezes them
Take every day as it comes!!

the ones I bought said 'freezable' on the front. I'd still have stuck 'em in the freezer though as they were still frozen in the chiller cabinet so not defrosted then re-frozen!
