Loft insulation over 'space blanket'

Hi
I have got Knauf 'space blankets' in the loft, running parallel with the joists. However I have got some standard loft insulation cheap now and was wondering is it OK to just lay this over the space blanket? (at right angles), or is it best to remove the space blanket, lay the standard insulation, again, parallel with the joists and then put the space blanket at right angles over that?
I can't see it making any difference myself, but just wondered as the space blanket has that silver side facing up and didn't know if that is best as always on top.
Thanks

Just chuck the new stuff down on top. I can't see that the reflective surface does anything much. If reflective surfaces provided any serious insulation why would anyone bother with the thick stuff. Heat insulation is provided by a layer of still air, a stiff sheet of some reflective surface is not going to provide still air.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
