damn! This is only a few miles from where I live, I had my puppy chipped at the vet for £25 two weeks ago. I would have rather have gone to this event and donated what the vet charged me direct to the RSPCA. Grrrr. There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0

But you do realise that whatever you donate directly to the main RSPCA headquarters doesn't actually help all the individual RSPCA shelters and clinics around the UK? They are independent charities and receive no funding from central HQ... they have to raise their own funds, hence why so many of them are struggling!
If you want to support the animals then give your donations to your local RSPCA shelter!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

So what do HQ do with their donations then? I guess the rescue operations swallow those donations?
I have always popped into any RSPCA charity shops on my travels; to buy books, shopping bags and cards. It's interesting the clinics do not receive any funding, though sadly not surprising. There used to be a street named after Chuck Norris, but it was changed because nobody crosses Chuck Norris and lives.0 -

They pay for extreme animal rights activities, give backhanders to the government to ensure bills such as the Animal Welfare Bill are passed in their favour to suit their political ends, and numerous other corrupt activities. They are sitting on £millions in cash and assets, yet still have the audacity to plead to the public for more donations!!
This blog is quite an eye-opener as to what goes on in the RSPCA....
