Will you have to spend a minimum amount in store to get it at that price in Asda as just want the DVD?

Probably not, ASDA don't seem to do that kind of thing, it's Tesco that seem to bribe you into spending more money to get the dvd cheaper (a la Monsters vs. Aliens)

The bad manners on this site are really starting to *!@# me off!
871 people have viewed this thread and only 11 thanks
9 people have posted comments but not bothered to thank the OP!
Is it really so hard to click a button?

    FiFi :(:naughty:
Appologies im pretty new to this board and tbh this whole thanking business is new to me, i read post and sometimes just skim the surface and scroll to see what the latest details are. I personally dont have the time to read every post verbatum. IMHO all the thanks is is a status symbol like a high post count etc etc... i will point out i posted in the wee small hours and was getting ready to go carbooting so i guess missing a click will be something im probably going to be pretty bad for, Hohum!!!

I wouldn't worry too much Minsk. Many of us do the same, or sometimes, on getting on to a thread, realise that it isn't for them and move on. I guess people who post additionally to the first poster are often trying to provide more help in the same vein too rather than taking up the offer. I have some sympathy for what fifi-mad-mum is saying, it doesn't take long to click, and plenty of us must have felt "reminded" as the thanks count is now up to 40, but having had a quick glance at her other posts out of interest, I note that the same habit of looking at, and even responding to a thread without pressing the thanks button is also in play. It's easy done.

I am now ironically doing something I don't like doing which is getting off the topic of the bargain, but yes, I will be in Asda tomorrow and hope there is some left. I haven't seen it, but quite enjoyed the other films. Thanks. Sal x

I preordered my DVD from Tesco for £13.98 with 500 Clubcard points. They will not give me the 500 points because I ordered the same title a week earlier. They changed the conditions of the 500 points offer from no terms & conditions to no more than 6 of the same title, then again to no more than one title after I ordered.
Anyway the first Harry Potter DVD arrived last week, the second has not arrived so they are expecting me to pay £13.98 on a preorder that has not arrived and no 500 Clubcard points.
I cancelled the order on line but received an email saying that is was being despatched, 2 weeks ago obviously it was not!

They have even chaged the price promise from:-

    Price Promise
The price you will be charged for pre-order items will be the lowest price we advertise, in store or online, up to and including the day of release.

    To:-

    Price Promise
The price you will be charged for pre-order items is the lowest of the price when you placed the order and the price advertised on the website on the day of release.

Note the words "in store" have be changed.

    Not happy with Tesco Entertainment.
