I want a good digital camera for under £80

Daughter has finally decided she wants a new digital camera for Christmas. She has got a basic kodak one but does love taking pictures so would like to move up a notch. Am looking for recommendations and maybe good reductions on a camera that would have been more expensive?

If your looking to upgrade but not quite to dslr level id recomend the fuji s1500, its a great bridge camera with dslr quality and without the complications, i started off photography 10 yr ago with a fuji s500 and never looked back, the quality if fab and got lots of settings to keep a budding photographer happy for ages, these havent been around long and started life at near £200 but if you google they can be had for about £129 which is a snip for the quality, hope this helps edited to say sorry didtn see you had a price of £80 on mind but if u can stretch id go for fuji everytime, or try the fuji site to see what re-cons they have all come with warranty too

This is a touch over £80 at £88.99 but comes with a rechargeable battery, which a lot of the cheaper cameras don't have, so will save you money in the long run.

I bought the black version for my sister last week but the price of that one has gone up now
