Boots OOTW 18/12/09

Hi all,

Just been to Trafford centre and none on the floor but when you ask SA told me they have some left and are geting more deliverys tomorrow.

I feel a bi rotten for not buying and sending to those still despearate on here but I reall need to get hat boxes out my head and shop for my young family who don't want a blooming hatbox.

I dreamt about them too. I need to get a grip its a box of bath stuff (lovely though)

I emailed soap and glory about not getting my lip plump. Hope the one Im giving away is complete!!

Anyone else get any extras or anything less??

My mum has just been into the store in Livingston to see if she could get a box for herself. The SA told her they got 1000 in on Friday but had all gone by mid afternoon and they wouldn't be getting any more in. She's gutted.

Well, I just wanted to thank the person who started this thread for adding a bit of fun to what can be a stressful and/or bleak time of year. Like a lot of people I stayed up till 3 on Thursday nght only to find I was unable to pay, as the site kept crashing. OH was going into town on Friday anyway and managed to get me one! And I am delighted with it. For a long time I have been wanting to try S&G and was waiting for a price reduction. At £50 the hat box is overpriced but at £20 it has got to be the bargain of the year. Also it is so nice to see people sharing their finds and offering to help others, rather than the quarrelling that sometimes breaks out on Boots related threads. So thank you once again for spotting this.

Thanks to all for updates, I managed to get my hands on 1 this morning in Glasgow Braehead. When I phoned at 11am, I was told they had 6 pallets left. I am so excited!! Just about to open it up just now. Good luck to everyone still looking : )

Grrr!! I phoned them yest and they weren't sure, they thought Monday at the earliest if they were getting them! I am going up to Glasgow later so will pop in on the off chance!! Fingers crossed please XXX

I too have really enjoyed this thread. I had a blimin' dream about Soap and Glory last night! Then this morning I got a dispatched email, thank the lord because I think I was worrying about it rather a lot. I've planned to use the contents of the one I bought yesterday in Watford away as presents, for £20 I have covered most of the friends I wanted to get gifts for! Absolute bargain and I am so pleased. :T
I do feel very sorry for the people who couldn't get one, particularly those who were up online with me on Friday morning trying to order the rotten things! I am quite surprised this whole story hasn't made it onto the news...

BTW - if anyone has found themselves dreaming, for the first time, about Boots products - you're now officially a Bootsaholic!

Once the sales start, and we get the new coupons, and ACM vouchers, you'll find yourselves thinking of, and dreaming about, combinations with such financial dexterity - you could easily get a job as Chancellor of the Exchequer!

Anyone who is still trying to get one, call the store first and if they have any ask them to reserve.
I phoned Maidstone on Friday morning and reserved 2 to collect at 5pm Saturday.

Despite the store having sold out at lunchtime, my two hatboxes were waiting and the girl who served me couldn't have been lovelier about keeping them back for me, reassuring me it was not a problem.

I used to dread January as a cold & miserable month to endure. since my 'MSE light bulb moment' January has been brilliant fun as I spend my (carefully budgeted) money & Boots vouchers on the year's birthday & Christmas presents. :j
