How about a pot of gold?

Fill a bowl/bag/box etc and attach the following:

    Here's a little pot/bag/box of gold
    A festive nibble too
I hope it makes all your christmas dreams come true
    Have a very merry christmas
With love from me to you

There is a wonderful thread about pots of gold, i'll try to find it and add to this post

    Edit: found it http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1283835&highlight=pot+gold
  • Thank you .... I have heard of pots of gold but not really followed the threads.

I want to put about six coins in a small cello bag with a topper a bit like these

If I go with a bag of gold theme I could also add a few other gold items.

I would be interested in other peoples rhymes too

  • The reindeer noses are foam strawberries - I got them in pick n mix but I think Halibo do them in packets. Saw them and straight away thought reindeer noses !!!!!

This is the poem I used last year - I just adjusted the one posted above a little:

Here's a little pot of gold,
    a chocolate nibble too,
and with it comes a Christmas wish,
to bring good luck to you.

I'd love to be able to make the professional 'reindeer noses' cards that flyingpig58 has made - any advice on how to would be gratefully received.

  • Hi Narla I have PMed you. Hope that is OK. xxx

I have used a nestabilities label die for the bag top.

The bag is a cut down tall cello card bag

The scalloped and plain circles are made using Stampin Up punches

and the reindeer is from a Christmas sticker pack form Accessorize.

My blog address is in my profile as I can't post links.

But if you google itsallfiddlefart you can find me.
